Ever since CHS first brought it to my attention years ago, I have been a fan of Monsoon's brunch offering. If you have friends that are not big fans of eggs, Monsoon has some creative alternatives. They offer a small but expertly executed dim sum menu (watch out for the daikon cakes - they are not vegetarian), waffles as well as some nooodle dishes - all beginning at 10 a.m on Saturdays and Sunday. Their egg dishes are also recommended. The menu changes daily, so it varies a bit from what you see on the website. For instance, the $3 rose is not listed but is currently offered. At 10 a.m. on a Saturday, there were plenty of seats available, so our friends with a nine-month old felt comfortable settling in.

Yahoo, that sounds great! I've been in a quite wonderful brunch rut for months and months... I'm happy to eat at Table 219 and Artemis over and over again. But it will be good to get out and try something new.
