What's on offer today: heirloom apples, pears and Asian pears, plums, all kinds of winter squashes, plus dozens of fresh vegetables including artichokes, broccoli, peppers sweet and hot, heirloom lettuces, braising greens, potatoes, beets and turnips – all fresh from local farms.
Returning Favorites: fresh eggs, cheeses, pasture-raised meats, wild-caught salmon, baked goods, fresh pasta.
Something Extra: Live music from local favorites Moe & Amy, and next Sunday the 9th we’re hosting a pre-Thanksgiving COOKING DEMO by Chef Sabrina Tinsley of La Spiga. Shoppers are encouraged to take the pledge to Eat Local for Thanksgiving – and Chef Sabrina will give shoppers some great ideas for making fabulous holiday dishes with local, seasonal farm ingredients.
